5 things about Editors

1. Editors are releasing an EP of remixes through iTunes featuring the work of Sebastian, Ghislain Porier, Prince Language and P Nice (if those names mean anything to you).

2. Also, and this is especially worthy of note, bonus tracks not from the EP are about to start cropping up on web sites (blogs??) in the week, so if you’re an Editors fan you might want to practice Googling “Editors remix bonus”.

3. Here’s the video for “Munich”.

4. Also on the promotional front (and really, what isn’t promotional these days?) there is a contest being hosted/sponsored by AcidPlanet that let’s you become the remix master. Simply download the (Garageband-like) ACID software, then get the remix loops for the track “Bullets” and let your creative juices flow. Someone should try and see if the loops will work on Garageband and get back to me on this one. Sounds like fun anyway. Here’s the original version, for inspirational purposes only of course.

5. If you haven’t heard of Editors yet, stop hiding from imminent nuclear destruction and get out of your bombshelter. And whatever you do, don’t tell them they sound like Joy Division, that’s so last summer.
