Bowerbirds

Bowerbirds offer up a cross between a bayou jug band playing in the heat of the Arabian desert with a choral group from Wisconsin in full flowing robes. That the band consists of only three people is a bit surprising after hearing the glorious chorus of voices on their debut Hymns For A Dark Horse. Phil Moore, married to Beth Tacular, and Mark Paulson make music that feels so organic you’re certain they’re standing barefoot in a forest with a light dusting of dewdrops over the drum skins as they play.
