Don’t stop believin’

Journey venture into new frontiers with a remix by Telemitry.
One of the highlights of the musical year for me has been the awesome remix work of Telemitry. Bloc Party’s “Mercury” was given an injection of fresh new blood by his bold beats, and “Viva La Vida” got a little more cred thanks to a Telemitry revision. Things have been a bit quiet in the Telemitry camp lately, so it was a pleasant surprise, then, to find a new remix in my inbox thanking me for supporting him this year, so I want to share that with all of you, in turn. Word is he has some “official work” that has been taking up his time, and that it should begin to see the light of day in ’09. I’m certainly looking forward to hearing what it is that he’s been brewing up.

So since we’re in the spirit of giving (and receiving) I’d like to acknowledge the kind words and encouragement of Darrin Davis whose personally thanked QBiM for “being so dedicated to promoting what you love”–namely Canadian music. David himself is a musician, whose band, The Strip, is a blues/folk/rock kind of combo that you may want to check out for yourself. And when you do, please tell him that I sent you (*smile*).
