I wouldn’t even know where to begin with my favourite Canadian author. I recently read Sinclair Ross’ As For Me and My House and loved it as well as Gabrielle Roy’s The Tin Flute and loved that too but they are the only works by those authors that I have read. As non-traditional Canadian Lit. as it goes I’ve read some William Gibson and have been totally blown away.

Favorite Canadian author is WP Kinsella, who wrote Shoeless Joe the book that the movie Field of Dreams was based on) and another one of the same vein called The Iowa Baseball Confederacy. Brilliant, amazing books.
