Has the Perrier gone straight to my head?

I hadn’t planned on a Sunday post this week, but then this little nugget fell into my inbox and I couldn’t pass it up.  They Shoot Music Don’t They has amassed a fantastic catalogue of intimate, off-the-cuff musical moments over the last little while, and the most recent is Montreal’s Islands doing “Pieces of You” off their album Arm’s Way, and a very different but definitely cool version of the Smiths’ swansong, “I Won’t Share You” (complete with urinal flushing outro).

It’s also fitting that I post this today as my good friend Mary-Lou is in Vienna right now voice coaching at the Volksoper Opera; watching the They Shoot Music Don’t They videos makes me anxious to head over there with her the next time she goes.  It is such a beautiful city.

Speaking of beautiful cities, while you read this, I’m on my way to Las Vegas with my mom, sis and nephew for a few days in Sin City to kick off my West Coast vacation.  I’ll be sure to send you all a post card!
