One of my kind

(photo: Myspace)
Not one known for wasting time, Conor Oberst and his Mystic Valley Band are ready to release what they’re calling their sophomore record record (after last year’s Conor Oberst record) later this year. In anticipation of Outer South, a documentary called One Of My Kind will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s journey over the past year and a half. Made by the band’s guitar-tech Phil Schaffart and presented by Causecast, the documentary traces the group’s ever-growing bond as friends and collaborators. The doc will be available via a free stream or HD download from here, here, here, here, and here. Additionally, Causecast partner sites The Huffington Post and Myspace IMPACT will each feature exclusive outtakes, trailers and live acoustic performances from the film. You can check these sites today for the 60-minute movie.
