These thing happen, eh?

Wilco have decided to offer fans an alternative from downloading a leaked copy of their new album, Wilco (the Album), by offering a low- and high-res stream of the entire thing on their website.  The album will officially hit stores on June 30 (which, in internet years is like forever from now), but by that point we’ll all be debating the finer points of love-letter-to-fans song “Wilco the Song”, and just how much more we love it than Sky Blue Sky.  For fans of their more atmospheric moments (a la A Ghost Is Born) there’s the delicious “Bull Black Nova”, being described as the sonic follow-up to that album’s “Spiders (Kidsmoke)”.  And of course, there’s the much-discussed collaboration with Feist on “You And I”, too, but–why am I bothering to tell you all this?  Just go and listen for yourself:

Okay, I can’t not post a track now, can I?  Although one of my compatriots has gone ahead and put something from the new album up (and I’m sure it won’t be up for long), I thought I’d play it a bit more safe and go back a few discs, to one of my favourite Wilco tracks:
