Dancing About Architecture

Although it doesn’t look like it from the perspective of the casual QBiM reader, I’ve been taking a bit of a hiatus from writing and generally worrying about the blog for about a week now while I’ve been road tripping across Ontario, Quebec and the Northeastern States.  Since I’m writing this in advance of you actually reading it, I’m certainly hoping that the trip has been a refreshing and relaxing one.

As this is the last post I’m preparing prior to take-off, I thought I would point readers in teh direction of a new blog of note:  Dancing About Architecture.  Named after a great Elvis Costello quote (the source of which makes up the blog’s masthead), Dancing About Architecture is the slightly kitschy creation of one Marc “Moose” Moder and Steven “Redmonkey” Burns, who like me, are a little bit older (dare I say greyer?) and have a musical history that extends further back than 1991.  Recent posts include a review of a Trashcan Sinatras gig (yeah!), long lost favourite Sister Double Happiness (double yeah!), and news of a new Robbie Williams LP (I may need a bib to collect the drool).  Although Marc and I have never actually met face-to-face (yes, we’re “virtual friends”) I’ve often joked that he and I must have been separated from birth considering our musical tastes are practically identical.  That and a few other similarities, too (wink).

So for anyone who’s interested in more than just the current flavour of the month, Dancing With Architecture offers a great selection of past and present ear candy (and some of the eye variety, too).  Be a dear and pop on over there and tell the guys I sent you.
