These are my twisted words into the dark

I wasn’t planning on any weekend posts while I’m away, but as I was getting ready to pack my bags for my little vacation, I got a couple of doozys in my inbox that I just couldn’t not share with you.
First up: New. Radiohead. And not that “Harry Patch” track from last week. This is… well, it’s not quite clear what it is, but so far this is what we’ve been able to make out: a) the track is likely called “These Are My Twisted Words”, and it may very well be on an EP that may or may not be called Wall of Ice, or may or may not be from the New Moon soundtrack. We may or may not know more from the band themselves by August 17. You may or may not want to download this, but I’m guessing that you do:

A bit of an addendum here: I originally wrote this post on Thursday August 13, and by noon on Friday August 14 (yesterday) I came across this piece of info from The Quietus via Culture Bully’s tweet: If you suppose that Radiohead are creatures of habit, then they’ll probably create a website called wallofice.com for this release just as they did with inrainbows.com; if you actually try and go to wallofice.com, you’ll be directed to the band’s WASTE web store, giving credence to the speculation that by Monday there’s going to be new Radiohead music available.
Next up: Amy Millan has got a track from her new album, Masters of the Burial available for perusal, and it’s a crackerjack countrified version of Death Cab For Cutie’s “I Will Follow You Into The Dark”. She’ll also be performing a version of Sarah Harmer’s “Old Perfume” on the album.
