This is so sweet my teeth ache just from listening to it! Mika is back with the first slice of sugary confection from his new LP, The Boy Who Knew Too Much. Originally, “We Are Golden” was supposed to be the title track of the album, but last week on his website, Mika announced that he had decided to change the album’s title and completely redesign the cover art. No reason for the quick change is given, and none needed really. “We Are Golden” is everything you’d come to expect (if you spend any time with such expectations) from the crown prince of fop-pop. In a word: golden.
