The one where I don’t say very much of anything at all.

How unlike me to post so late in the day. As I eluded to earlier this week, it’s been a bit hectic around here so there really wasn’t anything in the can and ready to go this morning, so I let thing brew and simmer all day in hopes that when I got home from work tonight there would be something on my mind to share with you.

Turns out I’ve got nothing.

But I won’t leave you hanging completely. Actually, I’ll engage you in a task, if you’re up for it. Last year Matt at i (heart) music (you;re familiar with him by now I’m sure) asked me to participate in his Annual survey of the hottest bands in Canada. It was great fun, and I’m up to doing it again. I have to submit my top 10 artists to him later in the week, but before I do, I thought I’d ask if anyone out there reading this had any thoughts or suggestions for me. So, what do YOU think the hottest bands in Canada are RIGHT NOW? Drop a comment or two for this post below and let’s get the discussion going.

I promised Matt not to reveal my list before the results are tabulated, but there’s a good chance that Ohbijou are going to end up on my list. That’s all I’ll say on the matter for now. You can see the results of Matt’s 2008 and 2006 polls here (I’m not sure what happened to 2007, though), and get an idea of what to expect a bit later this month.
