New single + tour from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

New York City darlings The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have announced they’ll be releasing a new single soon (no date is specified yet) to coincide with a summer tour of the U.S.  and the Eurpoe.  “Say No to Love” is “pretty Pains-by-numbers,” according to the band.  “It’s got 3 chords, a fuzz pedal and lots of feelings. But instead of recording in the basement like we did for our album and both EPs, we recorded in an actual studio.”  Pitchfork had a live version of the track available back in November, recorded at Sumerland’s 20th anniversary gig.  Tour dates announced so far:
