2010 Polaris Music Prize Longlist

Do we really need a preamble here?  40 discs of which 30 will be whittled away to make the Shortlist of 10 on July 6, one of which wins the prize on September 20.   Will edit and update the list with all Myspace links etc. when I have the chance, but now I have to get home, get changed, and get to Rufus Wainwright (who’s been criminally overlooked for this list!).  Imaginary drum roll, please and thank you:
