S.C.E.N.E. Sunday

Anyone looking to get free from the grip of G20 havoc in downtown Toronto should considered hopping the GO Train and heading to Niagara for the 15th annual S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival kicking off at 1 pm in St. Catharines today.  17 stages set up at 13 venues and over 160 artists promises to make you forget all about black clad terrorists destroying property for no good reason.

Bronx Cheerleader, Magneta Lane, Modernboys Moderngirls, Sandman Viper Command, Shad, Still Life Still, The Balconies, Amos The Transparent, Gentlemen Husbands and Arkells are just some of the names you can catch making music in our idyllic little peninsula, alongside some lesser known local talent like Hunters and Anglers and Elk.  Performances will go into the wee hours so you can certainly make a day of it.  For those with OCD tendencies who need to schedule every moment of their waking lives (ahem, not that I know anyone like that) the S.C.E.N.E. folks have created a handy little scheduler feature to their online home.
