“Carve a path like a valley through the land”
Moving away from the nautical themes of their debt Carta Marina, Montreal’s Nightwood are getting back to the land on their latest offering, “Carve a path like a valley through the land”. The track was recorded at Montreal’s Digital Bird Studios with Martin Horn of Cotton Mouth, and has an unmistakable earthy vibe to to it.
Nightwood are playing at Ottawa’s Cafe Deckuf tomorrow night, presented by none other than our favourite Capital-based blog, i (heart) music, and then will be at Toronto’s Mod Club on Saturday for a show there.
Meet You At The Show, a Montreal concert listing site, has the track available as an exclusive download this week before it pops up on iTunes and other digital sites for purchase, so be sure to head over and grab yourself a copy of it now.
