Getting over it
It was bound to happen: the first cold of the winter hit me this weekend, knocking me off my feet and plugging up my ears with congestion. That it coincided with the American Thanksgiving reprieve from PR emails was a small mercy, as I could take some time to sort through an already full inbox, and start thinking ahead for December’s year-end posts. So bear with me if, over the course of this week, the posts are brief (like this one), since I’m working on them when the decongestants and suppressants kick in.
One thing that certainly cut through the sickly fog of illness was that PS I Love You are giving away the song “Starfield”, the title track of the 7″ single that has been only available at their shows. The physical single has sold out, so Paper Bag will be releasing it starting next Tuesday, but you can get the A-side as a free download from the Paper Bag Records store until December 2 (that’s this Thursday). That’s also the day that I delete the file from the QBiM download folder, so if you want to get your hands on yet more great music from one of 2010′s hottest Canadian bands, now’s the time to do it.

And, if you missed the QBiM exclusive premiere of PS I Love You playing “Little Spoon” live and acoustic around their hometown of Kingston, Ontario, you can catch that post here, and learn all about the exclusive series of videos at other fine blogs the world over.
