Maritime brothers
I remember thinking, “That’s fucking brilliant” when I heard Joel Plaskett named his little record label New Scotland Records, and it’s off-shoot studio Scotland Yard, after all, the Nova Scotian troubadour has made it his mission to showcase and support homegrown talent.
I also though, “That’s fucking brilliant,” when I heard that Plaskett and Shotgun Jimmie were teaming up for a 7″ to be released on New Scotland: Jimmie’s Still Jimmie / That’s Not Joel. Good fun; good tunes; good friends; good Gawd, go and order yours on vinyl now.
