Shirts vs. skins

Tokyo Polic Club keyboardist Graham Wright announces solo LP

Culled from a reported 60 songs written in a burst of creative energy fuelled by an ugly breakup, Tokyo Police Club’s keyboardist Graham Wright is getting ready to release his solo debut, Shirts vs. Skins on June 28.  The album is said to be the first in a planned trilogy, leading one to believe that most (if not all) of those 60 songs may soon be seeing the light of day.

If there anything like “Soviet Race” then I say bring it on!  It’s a killer little indie pop song with aspirations of bringing down the giant and cutting off his head in triumph.  But in a playful way.

Shirts vs. Skins will be out on File Under: Music.  “Soviet Race” comes to us via exclaim!.
