Remixing heartbreak

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart get remixed by Twin Shadow

Have I mentioned to you that I’m on vacation this week?  I’m heading for a relaxing stay at what appears to be a lovely resort in the Adirondaks (judging by the photos online), but you know who’s not on vacation? The Pains of Being Pure at Heart!  (Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the lamest segue in the history of QBiM.)

Currently on tour promoting Belong, the band had a recent stop over in Toronto, played an in-store free gig, and now they’ve turned over their recent single, “Heart In Your Heartbreak” to Twin Shadow for a synth-happy, hand-clappy remix.  Twin Shadow is gearing up for the final leg of touring in support of last year’s crazy good Forget LP.
