NEW MUSiC: Reversing Falls

No freaks and ghouls in today’s post, just freakishly good rock from Montreal’s Reversing Falls.  They are getting ready to follow up their previous EPs with a self-titled debut album at the end of January, and have offered up a tantalising treat in the form of first single, “Is This Thing On?”  It’s the kind of precision-crafted guitar pop that you’d be happy to find in your loot bag after a night of dressing up and cavorting around the block with your best buddies.

Reversing Falls just wrapped up a Canadian tour that’s taken them from the Maritimes to the Rockies, and have a few more dates lined up in the lead up to the record’s release.  They hit Charlottetown on November 20 (Hunter’s Ale House) and then the Seahorse Tavern in Halifax on December 2.
