QUiCK HiT: Danielle Duval’s residency at The Piston, Toronto
WHO: Montreal native Danielle Duval, who’s song “Ambulance” was featured on QBiM last month.
WHAT: A month-long residency in support of her debut LP, Of The Valley, was released on September 13, 2011. It was recorded with Zeus‘ Carlin Nicholson and Mike O’Brien as producers, and features contributions from The Golden Dogs, Bahamas, and a duet with Broken Social Scene’s Jason Collett.
WHEN: The next five Wednesday nights: November 2nd with Elvyn; November 9th (guest TBC); November 16th with Scotty Mack Band; November 23rd with Mantler; November 30th with Sam Cash
WHERE: The Piston, 937 Bloor Street, Toronto, doors at 8:30 pm, shows at 9:00 pm.
