QUiCK HiT: Bad Passion
WHO: Bad Passion is Alt Altman, whom QBiM readers will recognize as the man behind Digits, and Lesley Davies of QBiM’s current electro-pop crush, Powers.
WHAT: Doin’ It Slow is the duo’s new EP, blending the cool detachment of chillwave with a caustic wit that reminds me a lot of Black Box Recorder (now there’s a name from the past, Britpoppers!)
WHEN: Bad Passion recorded the EP in a bedroom in their house while they were living together in Toronto. Alt recently relocated to London, England, so I guess they just do it long distance now (I know, this is sounding a little lewd now, isn’t it?)
